As part of an agreement with Meliá International, the global hospitality brand awarded the operating contract for a large-scale hectare development located on Jamaica’s North Coast, LIMCO was selected to provide comprehensive electrical engineering design services for the project. This engagement reflected LIMCO’s proven expertise in delivering complex engineering solutions for major hospitality developments that require reliability, efficiency, and strict adherence to international standards.
LIMCO’s responsibilities included the detailed design of electrical systems serving the hotel’s public areas, with a strong focus on safety, functionality, and long-term operational performance. These designs ensured adequate power supply for lighting, mechanical systems, and guest-facing amenities, while meeting applicable local and international electrical codes and supporting the overall architectural vision of the property.
Beyond public-area electrical systems, LIMCO also designed the critical supporting infrastructure required to sustain the facility’s daily operations. This included the development of robust power distribution systems capable of supporting the hotel’s full load demands and allowing for efficient energy management across the property.
